Job summary
We are seeking an experienced ADHD Service Lead (Non-Clinical) to provide operational leadership for our ADHD service in Brighton and Hove.
The post holder will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the service, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centred delivery in line with contractual, governance, and regulatory requirements. Working in close partnership with the Clinical Lead, the Service Lead will support service performance, workforce coordination, and service development, without holding clinical responsibility for assessment or treatment decisions.
This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-quality, equitable ADHD service that meets local population needs.
Main duties of the job
The ADHD Service Lead will lead the operational delivery of the service, overseeing referral and pathway management, capacity and demand monitoring, and performance against agreed KPIs and contractual requirements.
The role includes line management of non-clinical staff, workforce planning, and supporting staff wellbeing and development. The post holder will also support governance and quality processes, including incidents, complaints, audits, and service reviews, and lead or contribute to service improvement initiatives. Working with internal and external partners, the Service Lead will act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and support effective collaboration across the system.
