1. To plan, prepare and cook menu items as directed by Chef manager
2. To assist in the development and planning of menus developing new styles of service and concepts in the location
3. To carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate
4. To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service at all times
5. To compile all food orders for sections under your supervision
Person Specification:
The successful Chef de Partie will:
6. Hold an NVQ qualification in catering or equivalent
7. Have experience working within a commercial kitchen
8. Possess a Food Hygiene Certificate
9. Have a demonstratable passion for food and service.
10. Have a demonstratable ability to plan ahead and use their initiative
11. Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
