We’re seeking a Site Engineer - Nights to play a key hands-on role supporting end-to-end production at our new state-of-the-art facility in Wolverhampton. This is your chance to work at the heart of operations, driving engineering excellence across materials handling, production, and dispatch. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-oriented engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys seeing tangible impact from their work. Flexibility and collaboration are key as you work across departments to support production, optimise systems, and embed best practices. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Supporting the full manufacturing lifecycle—from raw materials to dispatch—ensuring engineering processes enable efficiency, safety, and quality Developing and maintaining key technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials Assisting in the development and delivery of a proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme and effective spare parts management Implementing control systems to regulate and improve production processes Applying Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, SMED, KANBAN, and visual management Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including NPD, Quality, and Production, to meet internal and external standards Contributing to process standardisation and continuous improvement through structured engineering problem-solving What You’ll Already Have: Proven experience working within engineering teams in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of Lean tools and design-for-manufacturing principles Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) Familiarity with ERP systems and the MS Office suite Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering A practical mindset with a strong aptitude for hands-on engineering Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive and flexible approach Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Project management skills or qualifications, including Agile methods Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Relevant qualifications/experience with gas systems What Your Colleagues Say About You: You remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly You collaborate with impact and drive shared success You bring structure to complexity and clarity to problems You take ownership and deliver solutions You learn fast and inspire others to improve Our Values: Cultivates Innovation – Always stay curious Active Learner – Invest in growing your capabilities Collaborates – Share and build together Plans and Aligns – Be purposeful and outcome-driven Why Work With Us?
