Senior Healthcare Assistant OPD | Outpatients | Private Hospital | Permanent, Full-time | Chatham, Kent
Spire Alexandra Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experience Healthcare Assistant to take a Senior position in the Outpatients department. As senior HCA you will have more responsibility for decision-making, clinical tasks, and staff supervision.

Duties and responsibilities:
* This role is based in a fast-paced environment providing the opportunity to develop and increase healthcare knowledge and experience. You will be given a full comprehensive induction when you start including the opportunity to train in venepuncture and basic dressings
* Assist the qualified nursing staff, in providing a high quality, comprehensive service to all patients and users, ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment
* Decision-making, clinical tasks, and staff supervision.
Who we're looking for:
* An experienced level 3 qualified HCA
* Previous experience within an outpatient/surgical unit
* Experience working in a hospital setting is essential
* Phlebotomy skills
* You will need outstanding communication skills, and you will be able to follow instructions precisely
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours - Covering shifts Wednesday to Saturday.
