ABOUT THE ROLE
Due the company winning a new project they are now looking for a site engineer to join their Rail infrastructure division. The successful candidate will need to co-ordinate the site engineering control activities to satisfy contract programme requirements, delegating or carrying out setting out as necessary. You will need to ensure the standard Company procedures are adopted in carrying out setting out operations, and that effective methods of communication are used in transmitting information to operatives and subcontractors. The initial project you will be on will be a D&B project working with Network Rail, the types of works will involve reinforced concrete and drainage works.
You will be in charge of assisting the Site Manager in the initial site set-up, ensuring Company systems and procedures are in place and implemented. It’s important to note you’ll need to apply effective planning techniques, methods analysis and controls to ensure the most effective and continuous use of resources. The project is just outside of Birmingham.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for any of these positions you will be required to have had experience working in rail infrastructure for tier 1 or tier 2 companies within the UK with strong stability. It’s important to have worked for each of your previous companies for at least 3 years per company.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this permanent position, we are targeting candidates looking to earn anything from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum however specific salary will be defined upon experience and suitability. There will be a generous package offered; travel allowance OR company vehicle in addition to standard benefits associated with a large successful company. They are open to freelancers for this role.
