About the role
We are seeking an exceptional and visionary leader to join our senior leadership team as a Vice Principal - Technical & Foundation Skills This is a pivotal role at an exciting time in our journey, as we implement a new and ambitious strategic plan aimed at strengthening our position as a leading further education provider.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide executive and strategic leadership across the College’s technical and apprenticeship provision, ensuring delivery of a high-quality, employer-responsive curriculum that meets skills priorities and supports economic growth.
* Act as the strategic lead for foundation learning, driving a whole college approach to equity, support, and achievement for learners with additional needs, ensuring all students thrive and progress irrespective of barriers to learning they may face.
* Act as senior lead for the delivery of personal development, the student experience and Safeguarding
* Play a central role in contributing to the overall strategic direction, performance and culture of the College and be responsible for further strengthening its reputation as a leading provider of technical education in the Liverpool City Region.
* Drive a culture in which the College is recognised as an inclusive, diverse and high-performing organisation where all learners succeed.

Essential Criteria
* A degree or equivalent
* A Cert Ed or equivalent
* Significant senior leadership experience within Further Education, skills or vocational sector
* Ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve the highest level of quality and performance and proven track record in the improvement of outcomes for learners
* Knowledge of: - Apprenticeships and funding frameworks- Technical and vocational education policy and reform- SEND and inclusive learning provision- Safeguarding requirements
* Experience leading strategic change and curriculum transformation
* Demonstrable experience of leadership and people development
* Strong stakeholder and employer engagement skills and knowledge of LSIPs and regional skills systems
* Track record of Ofsted inspection leadership
* A strategic and forward-thinking leader
* Resilient, decisive and outcome-driven
* A strong advocate for inclusion and social mobility
