<div><p><b>Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Little Petals Day Nursery</b></p><p>Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Little Petals Day Nursery, Sonning Common.</p><p>We opened our doors for the first time in March 2025, our newly opened setting in the beautiful village of Sonning Common cares for children from as young as 3 months to preschoolers (3 months – 5yrs). We are open all year round from 7.30 am till 6.00 pm.</p><p>We understand that your child is the most important creation to you and therefore we aim to deliver the best possible care and play experiences for your child. With a view to maintain the important routines youve worked so hard to achieve and working closely with parents, carers and those involved in the childs home life.</p><p>We have 2 rooms over 2 floors, babies upstairs and over 2’s are upstairs.</p><h3>Your duties and responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage the day-to-day operations of the room</li><li>Plan and deliver activities in line with EYFS and children’s individual needs</li><li>Monitor children’s development and maintain accurate records</li><li>Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and families</li><li>Lead, support, and supervise room staff</li><li>Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and ratio requirements are met</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents/carers and management</li><li>Promote positive behaviour and support children’s development</li><li>Contribute to observations, assessments, and planning</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential</li><li>Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding</li><li>Experience in a senior or supervisory childcare role</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills</li><li>Must have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent</li></ul><h3>Hours</h3><ul><li>Little Petals Day Nursery is open from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday</li><li>The successful candidate will be required to work 36 hours per week</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Pension Nest</li><li>10% off childcare fees</li><li>Parking on road in the village</li><li>On a bus route</li><li>Team building</li></ul></div>
