We are seeking a talented Transport Planner with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, delivering innovative transport solutions for both public and private sector clients.
About the Role
You will be involved in:
Preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies for development and infrastructure projects.
Undertaking junction modelling and traffic analysis using industry-standard software.
Supporting the design and delivery of sustainable transport strategies, including active travel and public transport improvements.
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related discipline.
2–5 years’ experience in transport planning within a consultancy environment.
Proficiency in junction modelling software (e.g., Junctions 10, LinSig) and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of UK planning process, transport policy, and design standards.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Desirable
Experience with micro-simulation software (e.g., VISSIM).
Knowledge of active travel design principles and sustainable transport initiatives.
