Teaching Personnel is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the B29 area, working full-time with children in EYFS and Reception. Role Overview: Support children’s development and learning in EYFS and Reception classes Assist with daily classroom routines, focused learning activities, and play-based learning Provide additional support to children with special educational needs and personal care responsibilities when needed Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Attend weekly school meetings to stay fully engaged with the team and student progress Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (full-time) Position available for the full academic year Essential Qualifications: Candidates must hold either a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification OR an EYFS-specific qualification Experience supporting young children in EYFS or Reception, ideally in a school setting Patient, caring, and passionate about early years education Comfortable with personal care duties and working closely with children who need extra support Reliable, proactive, and a team player Based in or able to commute to the B29 area This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of a friendly school community, making a positive difference during a vital stage of children’s education.
