This Junior Buyer position will be working for a growing manufacturing organisation based in Redditch. This role requires someone who has ideally worked in a manufacturing environment and enjoys a fast paced role with progression.

My client is a large well known manufacturing organisation who are looking for a full time Junior Buyer based in Redditch.
Description
* Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials required for production operations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid disruptions in supply.
* Review and evaluate supplier performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to forecast and manage procurement needs effectively.
* Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier contracts.
* Support the overall procurement strategy and contribute to process improvements.
Profile
A successful Junior Buyer should have:
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing organisation would be ideal
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Previous experience as an Administrator looking to take the next step up
* An analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.
* Can commute to Redditch
