Mechanical Inspector Benefits: £18.00 per hour paid overtime 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 9% non-contributory pension Half-day Fridays Free on-site parking Long-term job security in a stable, expanding business Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities: Inspecting machined and goods-in components using hand tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers) Interpreting engineering drawings and inspecting components to tight tolerances Completing inspection documentation with a high level of accuracy Recording data using SAP and documenting non-conformances Working to aerospace standards and contributing to product quality Mechanical Inspector Requirements: Experience with PC-DMIS CMM programming and/or working with Hexagon Lazer Scanning Arm Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings Skilled in using precision measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers) Good understanding of GD&T and both metric and imperial measurement systems Previous experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, or Subcontract Manufacturing CMM experience is beneficial but not essential To apply, simply click the apply button.
