Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Event Assistant to join our Centre. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in opening & closing of various events, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for guest services within the hospitality industry.
Duties
* Assist in opening & closing the Centre for Private Events
* Provide good guest services
* Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timelines.
* Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to ensure seamless communication and execution of event details.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the event process.
Experience
* Previous experience in working with a Community Centre desirable but not essential.
* Familiarity with fundraising initiatives is advantageous but not essential.
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
* Use of smart phone card payment provider services ie Sumup
* A background in guest services or hospitality will be beneficial in delivering exceptional experiences. Join our Centre as an Event Assistant and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests
