The company now wishes to appoint a temporary Sales Support Administrator based at our Moira site to support the Agronomy and Forages Services business. The role is temporary to cover maternity leave, however there may be opportunities for a permanent role.
The Role:
1. To assist with the processing of sales orders for agronomy, fertiliser, lime and forage-based products;
2. Provide telephone sales support to customers for agronomy, fertiliser, lime and forage-based products;
3. Assist with production planning, stock management and labelling for the production of cereal seeds;
4. To assist with the organisation of logistics and scheduling of deliveries;
5. To assist with the planning and co-ordinating of on farm soil sampling services;
6. Provide administrative support to the Agronomy and Forage Services management team and wider sales team.
7. Deal with queries from customers, hauliers and suppliers.
The Person:
8. Have previous general administration experience in a busy office environment;
9. Have experience of production planning, delivery routeing and scheduling;
10. Possess strong IT skills with experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting software;
11. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
12. The ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team;
13. Will preferably have an Agricultural qualification;
14. Ideally have an understanding and interest in the Northern Ireland Agricultural Industry;
15. Preferably have previous experience dealing with farmers.
