Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
Duties
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
* Utilise power tools and hand tools to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
* Assemble and maintain components as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
* Conduct thorough inspections of customers' engines to identify potential problems.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
* A formal engineering qualification in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural/HGV mechanics
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Familiarity with electrical systems related to diesel engines is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A valid driving licence is required.
