Keighley College are recruiting for a Multi Skills Course Leader. Due to growth in numbers we have an opening for Multi Skills Course Leader who will work closely with Programme Managers of Bricklaying, Joinery, Plumbing or Electrical to develop our Level 1 courses. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that supports learners to achieve, progress and develop employability skills.
What You Will Do
1. Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of selected courses (covering areas such as carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, and basic electrical skills).
2. Ensure schemes of work and lesson plans are ambitious, well-sequenced, and meet awarding body and industry requirements.
3. Monitor and track learner progress, ensuring timely interventions and support.
4. Drive high achievement, retention and progression rates.
About You
5. Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS or willingness to achieve).
6. Level 3 (or above) qualification in a relevant construction or Multi Skills discipline.
7. Experience of teaching or training within FE, skills, or industry settings.
8. Strong organisational skills and ability to lead curriculum delivery.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety and safeguarding requirements.
