An established interiors contractor with a strong presence across residential, commercial, retail, leisure, and public-sector projects is seeking an experienced Drylining Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The business delivers a wide range of interior construction services, with particular expertise in performance-led drywall systems and full internal packages.
Their work covers both new-build and refurbishment schemes, offering end-to-end services from initial structure works through to final finishes. With a growing workload and long-term project pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their commercial function with a capable and detail-driven QS.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee commercial management of drylining and interior packages from tender stage through final account.

Prepare and manage project valuations, variations, cost plans, and monthly reports.
*
Handle material procurement and subcontractor packages in line with project budgets.
*
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, variations, and commercial risks.
*
Liaise closely with project managers, design teams, and site staff to ensure accurate cost tracking.
*
Review subcontractor applications and manage payment schedules.
*
Ensure all works align with relevant performance requirements (fire, acoustic, moisture, impact, etc.).
*
Support projects involving design coordination and technically complex build specifications.
*
Contribute to efficient project delivery by promoting accurate forecasting and cost control.

Candidate Profile

Proven background as a Quantity Surveyor within drylining, drywall, or interior fit-out.

Strong understanding of plasterboard systems, partitions, ceilings, and related performance requirements.

Capable of managing multiple packages and working across fast-paced live projects.

High level of numeracy and commercial awareness.
*
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
*
Ability to build strong relationships with site teams, clients, and subcontractors.
*
Proactive approach with good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
