Overview
An Extended Scope Podiatrist - Podiatric Surgery is sought to join a highly motivated team. The service includes specialist podiatric surgery, biomechanics, diabetes and rheumatology, with duties in both outpatient and operating theatre settings. The successful applicant will provide specialised programmes of care within the Podiatric Surgical service and support all aspects of service delivery. Supervision and teaching will be provided.
Job responsibilities
The Podiatry Service delivers specialist care to a diverse patient population, primarily in a primary care setting, led by Consultant Podiatric Surgeons and Specialist Podiatrists. The Extended Scope Podiatrist supports Consultant Podiatric Surgeons in diagnosis and management of highly complex foot and ankle conditions, across the full patient pathway from outpatient assessment and pre-operative planning through to theatre support and post-operative care.
