Job Purpose:
To maintain building interiors by dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning surfaces; replenishing supplies; removing waste; conserving supplies; maintaining equipment; following instruction given by Housekeeper.
Duties:
To accomplish housekeeping work requirements by following strict guidelines to meet with infection control requirements.
To meet housekeeping work standards by following our policies and procedures.
To maintain building interiors by dusting and sanitising furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures.
To remove waste by emptying waste containers; transporting solid waste to bins.
To keep equipment operational by following operating instructions; cleaning equipment; notifying maintenance of needed repairs.
To maintain safe working conditions by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
To provide quality service by documenting cleaning actions; noting areas requiring additional care or monitoring; informing housekeeper of incomplete work.
To maintain cost containment initiatives by diluting chemicals according to manufacturer's recommendations; minimising supply use to accomplish cleaning standards; maintaining equipment.
To update housekeeping job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications e.g. COSHH data sheets.

Hours of work: 8am to 2pm 3 days on a rota system including weekends.
Successful candidate will be required to register for a Protection of Vulnerables Group Certificate currently costing £59 and this expense will be me by the candidate.
