A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their business with the appointment of a Manufacturing Manager.
Working from their manufacturing facility in Warwickshire, the Manufacturing Manager's responsibilities will include:
* Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring production volumes, efficiency targets, and quality standards are met without compromise.
* Lead the planning process that translates sales forecasts into production plans
* Establish, track, and achieve KPIs for production schedule, manufacturing costs, product quality, and inventory control programs.
* Assist in justification, management, and allocation of capital expenditure.
* Lead the adoption of lean methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and drive operational agility.
* Facilitate structured problem-solving and promote data-driven decision-making to address challenges proactively.
* Ensure collaboration across functions to address root causes of defects and ensure right-first-time manufacturing.
* Develop and refine standard work instructions to support consistency and excellence in output.
* Enforce strict adherence to current safety policies and procedures throughout the site while continuously improving safety measures.
* Be a catalyst for cultural transformation, building a workplace where all employees feel valued, included, and empowered to contribute.
* Drive a culture of ownership and a quality first mindset where attention to detail is embedded in every stage of production.
* Foster strong relationships across all levels of the organisation to drive trust and collaboration.
* Motivate and lead a high-performance team, attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent.
The candidate:
* Degree-qualified Engineering, manufacturing or related subject.
* 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, ideally with a premium brand.
* Evidence success in applying lean principles and leading sustainable daily improvement.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a ‘action now’ approach rather than ‘wait and see’
* Stays ahead of the curve with professional development and industry knowledge
* Authentic, inclusive leadership style with a focus on building engaged, high performing teams.
* Demonstrate success in leading culture change initiatives
* Competency in MRP systems and a strong grasp of production data analytics.
