Are you are a kind and caring individual who wants to join an amazing team working together to support children in a friendly SEN educational setting?
As we continue to expand Hartmore School are looking for TAs to work in our Primary, Secondary and Specialist Girls Provisions as we continue to increase the number of children we help. A really understanding and friendly person, with a genuine wish to help children secure brighter futures, is of more importance to us than having previous experience or the 'right qualification'. We welcome applications from all levels of practice in the SEN education sector. You should be communicative, emotionally resilient and have a positive demeanour to support both Teachers and learners.
Hartmore School is a growing, specialist independent Day School offering Primary and Secondary placements for up to 98 boys and girls aged 7 to 18, with anxiety and sometimes a complex mix of needs. The majority of these children live with their own families. Hartmore School was initially established in 1992 to provide for pupils with SEMH needs.
The Salary on offer is £25,183.00-£26,835.00 per year for working term time only, 30 hours a week, 39 weeks a year. NB This is paid pro rata so take home pay is approximately £16,983 (inc Holiday Pay) - £18,099 (inc Holiday Pay) per year. Once qualified at NVQ level 3, an additional £1,000 SEN point is paid.
Overtime is paid for additional hours worked.
Our term dates are in line with other Gloucestershire schools allowing you 13 weeks leave in the academic holidays and a shorter working day (great for those with their own children to consider).
Professional development is important to us and training is provided including becoming a Qualified Teaching Assistant (NVQ L3) or even the opportunity to work towards a teaching qualification. Some of the schools Teachers began working at Hartmore as Teaching Assistants.
