Duties/Responsibilities
Location: Relief Security Officer for Swindon, Reading & Oxford
This is a mobile role so a FULL UK Driving Licence is required
Salary: £39,312 DOE + Company benefits
Working hours: 5 shifts out of 7 - Days, Nights, Weekends - 12 hour shifts
Contract Type: Full time Perm - Shift

Role overview:
This role involves carrying out daily tasks as specified to create a safe and secure working environment for all visitors and staff, whilst always ensuring good customer service is provided.
What you'll do:
* Demonstrate a positive commitment to a high level of customer service, professional presentation, and confidentiality at all times.
* Facilitate access/egress to building(s) whilst maintaining a high level of client facing and customer service skills.
* Be aware of protest and demonstration activity and respond/escalate as appropriate.
* Assist staff, guests, contractors, and public bodies by providing information, giving directions, or responding to queries professionally.
* Be fully conversant with all operating procedures and always follow them.
* Assist during major incidents as instructed.
* Always display your SIA licence whilst on duty.
* Maintain accurate records/logs and submit reports as instructed.
* Participate in staff welfare or development programmes and mandatory training.
* Use communication tools (radio/phones) confidently and clearly.
* Carry out any other reasonable requests as required.
Person Specification
Who you'll be:
* Clearance to BS7858
* SIA Licence – Security Guard (SG)
* SIA Licence – Door Supervisor (DS) (if applicable)
* SIA Licence – CCTV (if applicable)
* First aid qualification
* Customer service experience
* Proficient in written and verbal communication
* Experience with IT software (Word, Teams, Outlook)
* Reliable, punctual, approachable
* Pride in appearance
* Flexible approach to duties
* Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
* Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
