_*Putting inclusion at the heart of counter-terrorism policing*_
Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) keeps the nation and everyone in it safe from all manner of threats. As those threats evolve, so do we. Take on the first role of its kind within CTP, and you’ll be developing the workplace culture and practices, within an organisation dedicated to protecting the public and our national security.
Inclusion, Diversity and Equality (IDE) is the key to supporting our greatest asset – our people.
Our people protect our national security, both officers and staff, in all areas of our organisation and the wider CTP network. To deliver operational excellence for the public, we must operate excellently for our people. So, your role will see you develop a work environment that can continue to adapt to the UK’s changing threat landscape.
We’ll look to you to coordinate and manage all activity around IDE and provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues. You’ll ensure our compliance with Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) and wider Equality Act 2010 legislative practices, and you’ll also establish a CTPHQ practice bank for IDE including templates, policy guidance and upskilling briefings. In addition, you’ll progress our internal ‘Inclusion Maturity Measurement’, driving business improvements at each stage of the colleague lifecycle model to position us as an inclusive employer of choice.
Your work experience to date will have seen you develop advanced skills in stakeholder engagement, critical thinking, and project management. You’ll also have a good understanding of data sets, the ability to reprioritise according to changing demands and a talent for engaging audiences on challenging topics.
In return, you can look forward to benefits including substantial annual leave, Civil Service pension arrangements, interest free season ticket loans, flexible working conditions and more.
