We are seeking to recruit an experienced Project Health and Safety Advisor to enhance our existing team of Advisors.\n\nReporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the Project Health and Safety Advisor will work on a major project in Sheffield, in a key role within the Project Team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPromotion of our health and safety ethos and culture at all levels within the Company and with our Subcontractors.\nEnsure working practices are safe and comply with relevant legislation.\nReview Subcontractor documentation including safe systems of works.\nAssist in the preparation of health and safety strategies and in the development of internal policies and procedures.\nLead and deliver health & safety initiatives.\nAssist in the in-house training of managers and employees.\nCarry out regular site inspections to ensure policies and procedures are being fully implemented.\nCarry out accident / incident investigations. \n\nExperience\n\nThe successful Health and Safety Advisor will possess the following essential qualities:\n\nProfessionally qualified within Health and Safety field (NEBOSH/NCRQ, BSc or MSc in Safety);\nProven track record as an operational Health and Safety Advisor within the Construction industry.\nThorough knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation.\nAccident and incident investigation experience.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to work as part of a team and to positively influence others.\nIT literate.\nCSCS Card
