The Role


We're growing. With that growth comes a clear opportunity.


We have a large base of clients who already trust us for connectivity and communications. A significant number of them aren't yet benefiting from managed IT, cybersecurity, or the wider services we can offer. That's the gap. This role exists to close it.


You'll inherit an assigned client base, build relationships with their decision-makers, and use our YourCloud Audit to identify gaps in their technology and security posture. You'll present your findings in plain English, qualify each opportunity through our internal sales process, and manage every conversation through to close.


The clients you'll work with vary. Some will have basic environments with obvious gaps. Others will be more mature. What they all have in common is an existing relationship with PCS and a decision-maker who isn't a technologist.


This is predominantly a farming role. But we don't want someone who's allergic to new business either. You'll be expected to contribute to new client acquisition alongside your existing base β€” whether that's referrals, self-generated leads, or opportunities that come through our growth activity 🌱

Responsibilities


Client growth & revenue

πŸ”΅ Own the YourCloud Audit process across your client base β€” scheduling, conducting and debriefing every audit to a consistent standard

πŸ”΅ Convert audit outcomes into commercial proposals for managed IT, cybersecurity and complementary services

πŸ”΅ Actively grow MRR within your assigned client base by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities at every touchpoint

πŸ”΅ Work to increase average customer spend across your portfolio by broadening the range of PCS services each client uses

πŸ”΅ Contribute to new client acquisition through referrals, self-generated leads and opportunities arising from our wider growth activity


Client relationships & retention

πŸ”΅ Present findings to business owners, MDs and finance directors in plain English, framing risk in terms they actually care about

πŸ”΅ Run quarterly strategic business reviews for clients who've expanded their relationship with PCS, maintaining momentum and defining their mid to long term technology roadmap

πŸ”΅ Maintain strong relationships across your portfolio to protect and grow recurring revenue β€” a client who churns is a failure, not just a statistic


Pipeline & reporting

πŸ”΅ Manage your pipeline in Halo from first conversation through to signed contract, keeping it accurate at every stage

πŸ”΅ Report weekly on pipeline activity, opportunities and MRR won

πŸ”΅ Work with our Sales Director, Operations Director and 3rd line engineering team to scope and price accurately


Market & commercial awareness

πŸ”΅ Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats and the evolving cybersecurity landscape so you can have credible, timely conversations with clients

πŸ”΅ Monitor competitor activity within your client base and flag risks to retention early

πŸ”΅ Feed wider client intelligence back into the business on emerging concerns and portfolio gaps


What we're looking for


Experience & skills

πŸ”΅ Proven track record in IT or cybersecurity account management

πŸ”΅ Extensive B2B sales experience within a technology, security or MSP business

πŸ”΅ Demonstrable experience growing revenue from an existing client base β€” we want to hear about specific clients you've developed, not just targets you've hit

πŸ”΅ The ability to hold credible conversations with non-technical decision-makers and translate risk into language they'll act on

πŸ”΅ A disciplined approach to pipeline management β€” you know where every opportunity is and why

πŸ”΅ Working knowledge of Cyber Essentials or cybersecurity fundamentals

πŸ”΅ Full UK driving licence and willingness to work field-based across the Midlands and surrounding areas

πŸ”΅ Genuinely target-driven β€” you're motivated by hitting and exceeding numbers, not just activity

πŸ”΅ Hungry for success but not at the expense of doing right by the client β€” you understand that short-term wins that damage relationships aren't wins at all
