We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Production Baker to support the daily operations of a busy bakehouse. This role is ideal for someone with strong baking experience who is ready to take on a lead role, ensuring Creative Gardens high-quality products are consistently produced while working for the head baker and also supporting the wider bakehouse team.
Responsibilities
* Helps lead day-to-day baking tasks as per production list and instruction from head baker.
* Mixing doughs, batters, and pastry.
* Helps with oven management and baking schedules.
* Supporting the Head Baker.
* Training more junior staff.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a professional bakery environment.
* Strong knowledge of bread, pastry, desserts and cake production.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Available to work 5 days per week, approx. 40 hours
* Formal baking or culinary qualification.
* Experience using commercial bakery equipment.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP)
* Passion for baking and the Creative Gardens Food Co brand.
