Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hairdressing Trainer to join our professional training team. Duties
* Deliver engaging and comprehensive training sessions on various hairdressing techniques and industry standards.
* Develop customised lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learner needs.
* Demonstrate practical skills in cutting, colouring, styling, and salon management.
* Monitor student progress through assessments, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Manage behaviour effectively within the training environment to maintain a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Organise workshops, demonstrations, and practical assessments to enhance hands-on experience.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into training programmes.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and certification documentation.
Skills
* Proven leadership abilities with experience in guiding and motivating learners.
* Strong behaviour management skills to foster discipline and respect within the training environment.
* Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
* Prior teaching experience in hairdressing or related fields is highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in IT tools relevant to training delivery and record keeping.
* Organisational skills necessary for planning lessons, managing schedules, and maintaining documentation.
