Retro Therma Underfloor Heating is looking for an experienced Engineer / Machine Operator to join our growing team.
We specialise in environmentally friendly underfloor heating (UFH) systems for residential and commercial properties. Our innovative retrofit installation method uses advanced, dust-controlled floor milling technology, making it ideal for renovation, refurbishment, and change-of-use projects. By cutting precise channels into existing screed or subfloors with specialist milling equipment, we deliver efficient, high-performance UFH installations.
*The Role*
As a Floor Milling Engineer / Machine Operator, you will be responsible for installing underfloor heating systems across the East of England. The role involves working in both domestic and commercial environments, primarily covering Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Kent, and London.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Install underfloor heating systems to a consistently high standard
* Operate specialist floor milling machinery safely and effectively
* Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications
* Maintain excellent workmanship and professional conduct on site
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations and complete required documentation
*Essential Requirements*
* Based in or near Colchester or Chelmsford
* Valid CSCS Health, Safety & Environmental Card
* Current CRB/DBS check
* Full UK driving licence and own transport
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
