Practice Nurse – Ad-Hoc Locum Sessions | £30/hr | York & Surrounding Areas Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a number of GP surgeries across York and the surrounding areas on an ad-hoc locum basis. Role Details Location: York and surrounding areas Rate: £30 per hour (LTD) Contract Type: Long-Term Locum Session Type: Ad-Hoc (Flexible Scheduling) System Used: SystmOne Shift Availability: Weekdays: GP Surgery (Monday to Friday) Evenings & Weekends: GP Out-of-Hours (OOH)Key Responsibilities Conduct chronic disease management clinics (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension) Perform cervical cytology, immunisations, wound care, and travel vaccinations Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care in line with NHS and local guidelines Work both autonomously and collaboratively within the wider practice teamCandidate Requirements NMC Registered Nurse (RGN) Proven experience working in GP surgery settings (essential) Up-to-date clinical competencies (e.g. cytology, immunisations) Strong communication and organisational skills NHS SmartcardWhy Join Service Care Solutions?
