We are seeking to appoint a full-time Catering Assistant to work during term-time to help the busy and thriving Catering Department.
The successful applicant will :
* Assist with the preparation of and service of all meals and refreshments as determined by the Head Chef and Front of House Manager.
* Ensure the safe service of all meals and drinks.
* Undertake the delivery of hospitality requirements across campus.
* Ensure the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
The post-holder will have experience of working in a catering environment or similar for at least 1 year with an ability to handle food and production techniques, and an appreciation of cleanliness, hygiene standards and basic knowledge of health and safety at work requirements.
This role will report to Front of House and Hospitality Manager.
Hours of Work : 37.5 hours per week, working five over seven days from 8:00am to 4.00pm with a 30-min unpaid break
Weeks per year: 36 weeks per year
Salary : £19,305 per annum (pro rata salary)
