The Dental Access Centre is an NHS commissioned Community Dental Service which includes the provision of comprehensive routine and urgent oral health care to patients of all ages working with a wide range of patient's groups including children and adults with special needs.
The Dental Nurse is a key member of the dental health team devoted to the smooth and efficient running of the surgery to provide a high standard of dental care to the patients.
The Dental Nurse will be expected to provide chairside support to a range of clinicians in the delivery of holistic, patient centred oral health care to a very broad range of both paediatric and adult patients many of whom will present with complex needs or to other vulnerable groups.
Be able to communicate effectively with patients, all members of the dental team and other healthcare professionals including GP's, and hospital staff where onward referral may be necessary.

We are currently looking for an experienced Dental Nurse to provide excellent support to the dental team within the Dental Access Centre. Dedicated to providing the smooth and efficient running of the surgery in providing a high standard of dental care to the patients exclusively NHS routine and urgent dental care to people of all ages including those varied special care/additional needs and those who have had difficulty accessing GDS NHS dental care at sites across Herefordshire.
You must be able to travel across Herefordshire occasionally in the delivery of dental care.
