Job Purpose: To maximise the company's market-share within the EHS testing industry. This can be achieved by identifying leads, securing new accounts and developing business within a variety of market sectors whilst maintaining the portfolio of existing clients and developing business with new clients. Role Accountabilities and Main Duties: To achieve and exceed revenue growth targets in-line with assigned sales budget. Establish and cultivate client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction Explore and develop new areas of business activity to allow a diversification in our current offering using existing or new capabilities Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers with a strong objective on securing base business and maximizing their spend with i2 Analytical Visit client offices and host customer visits to present company services, include other sales/CLS personnel as appropriate. Work with appropriate legal, financial and operational personnel as well as the customer to develop service agreements. Prepare territory business plan(s) and call activity plan(s) as necessary for existing and new business activities. Build individual account plans where appropriate and as directed by management. Prepare, issue and follow-up quotations to achieve forecasted volume sales. Identify new opportunities within the industry sector served and identify opportunities to cross sell across the analytical capabilities of CLS. Report on business intelligence and provide competitor information to peers. Provide accurate forecast management and sales reporting. Identify, qualify, record and track new business opportunities in company provided CRM/ Pipelines systems. Attend and contribute to sales team and departmental meetings as required. Build strong relationships with operations, marketing and support peers in the business. Generally promoting and maintaining the professional image of the Company and attend exhibitions as required. Person Specification Essential: Knowledge and experience of the Environmental Testing Market. Experienced in sales already or looking for the opportunity to move into a sales role from a technical function Previous account management/customer service experience. Strong written and oral communication skills Full, clean driving license. Desirable: Educated to degree level or equivalent within a scientific discipline. Capabilities: Ability to influence key decision makers. Self-motivated, personally resilient and disciplined. Thrives on a challenge, possesses excellent team working, verbal and communication skills. Strong organisational and presentation skills. Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into viable business development opportunities. Comfortable spending approximately 80% of working time in the Field.
