Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Ilford, London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £37k + Training & Benefits
Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking a technically-minded Water Treatment Engineer, to cover contracts in and around the M25. Daily duties will include: sampling from closed systems, chemical dosing, CWST disinfections and routine sampling / monitoring. The role is within a highly respected outfit, who specialise within Water Treatment / Water Hygiene. You will be travelling across: Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham, Chigwell, Enfield, Epping, Cheshunt, Grays, Tilbusy, Gravesend, Erith, Dartford, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Swanley, Bromley, Orpington, Croydon, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Caterham, Redhill, Kingston upon Thames, Richmond, Twickenham, Weybridge, Feltham, Southall, Uxbridge, Hayes, Harrow, Wembley, Edgware, Watford, Potters Bar.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 264 guidelines
- Will have worked on domestic hot and cold systems, plus process / technical systems
- Ideally will have undertaken industry-related training courses
- Experience working across a range of commercial, public sector and local authority client sites
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Attending client sites to complete ACOP L8 compliance tasks
- Cleans and disinfections on Cooling Towers
- TMV servicing
- Sampling from Closed Systems
- CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
- Showerhead descales
- Safely handling chemicals and completing dosing where required
- Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Producing regular service reports
- Adhering to agreed deadlines
