SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Production Planning Manager to lead our purchasing, planning, and logistics functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with operational expertise, ensuring materials availability aligns with production needs while maintaining cost control and supplier performance.Responsibilities will include:Manage supplier relationships and mitigate supply chain risksEnsure optimal stock levels for raw materials, consumables, and toolingUtilise MRP systems to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiencyAlign production with sales forecasts and manage inventory against working capital targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a strategic point of contact for supply chain and service-related mattersManage, coach, and develop Supply and Demand Planning team members.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning, procurement, and logisticsStrong working knowledge of MRP systems, Microsoft Office, contract law, and technical drawings/specifications.Ideally have experience in the automotive industryEffective team leader with excellent communication skillsExcellent analytical, negotiation, and data interpretation skills.Must have a valid UK driving licence and ability to travel domestically and overseasWork pattern:This position will be site based.Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm.After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9-day fortnight.Benefits include:Training and career development opportunities25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)Life Assurance 3x annual salaryPension contributions matched up to 7%Refer a friend bonus schemeEye Care vouchersEmployee Assistance ProgramStrictly no agencies pleaseTPBN1_UKTJ
