Brand & Content Marketing Executive – JD Outdoor Group
I am responsible for supporting the delivery of the marketing plans for the clothing and footwear partner brands, creating engaging, relevant and commercially minded content for JD Outdoor channels and contributing to the development of the JD Outdoor content strategy.
Key responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of partner brand marketing plans.
* Contribute to fascia content calendars aligned with campaign planning calendar.
* Produce video content in collaboration with in‑house videographer and social team.
* Plan and attend shoots to create video content across all JD Outdoor channels.
* Brief brand pages, e‑mails and website banners to the design team.
* Produce SEO‑rich blog content and expert advice guides.
* Monitor content performance and report insights, continuously improving content strategy and plans.
* Work closely with commercial/own brand teams to develop and execute content and marketing activity for own brand ranges.
* Communicate campaigns & results.
Qualifications & skills
* Excellent written copy – creative, persuasive, defined tone of voice, quick & accurate.
* Experience with blog building tools such as WordPress, basic HTML skills.
* Video production skills – planning, scripting, administration, budgeting, etc.
* Experience selling product through marketing and/or retail sales.
* Knowledge of what makes a good customer experience.
* Experience of social media and broader marketing.
* Experience developing and managing content calendars.
* Collaborative – work with multiple stakeholders across the business.
* Data‑insight – draw insights from analytic data.
* Familiarity with Google Analytics (advantageous).
* A passion for the outdoors and outdoors products (advantageous).
