At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world. As a Project Manager – Production at our Ashton Vale, Bristol site, you will lead a groundbreaking programme to deliver a new class of submarine within a dynamic production environment.
The Role
Day‑to‑day, you’ll drive delivery of the project safely, on time and within budget, while meeting superior quality standards. You will also collaborate to continually improve our own skillsets and those around us.
Key Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the delivery of several pieces of equipment, influencing daily operations by implementing best practices in scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement.
* Work with stakeholders across the team and wider business to drive delivery momentum and achieve project goals.
Experience and Skills
* Leadership experience.
* Project Management experience.
* Knowledge of project controls tools and their application for decision‑making.
* Excellent computer literacy.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and external bodies.
* Commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mindset.
Qualifications
* PFQ or PMQ (desirable) or equivalent.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
