Overview
Finance Data Analyst - 12 Month Parental Cover role at Virgin Media O2. Location: Reading. Job Type: Full Time. This position is for 12 months as Parental Leave Cover.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our new O2 Daisy People Team. Working with the People and Finance teams, this role will give you exposure to exciting insights and the responsibility for handling enterprise headcount information in accordance to an agreed budget. If you're comfortable providing monthly forecasts, capturing information and crafting creative reports and charts using Excel, we’d love to hear from you. The successful candidate will work with Business leaders to agree their forecast position and with the wider people team to provide narrative on headcount changes. The role will identify improvements and change ways of working to fully embed the use of Anaplan and ensure it is being used to drive efficient change.
Responsibilities
* Handle enterprise headcount information in line with budget.
* Provide monthly forecasts and capture required data.
* Craft reports and charts using Excel.
* Collaborate with Business leaders to agree forecast positions.
* Work with the People team to narrate headcount changes.
* Identify improvements and changes to embed the use of Anaplan for efficient change.
Qualifications
* High level of expertise in use of Excel.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to challenge.
* Analytical problem solving, a high level of numeracy and system literacy.
* Logical thinker with great attention to detail.
Desirable / Additional
* Proficiency in Excel, including data interrogation and reporting.
* Experience in People / HR function (Desirable).
* Experience in identifying data anomalies.
* Ability to train line managers to ensure ownership of people data accuracy.
* Self-motivated with the ability to meet fixed deadlines in a structured and logical manner.
