About the role
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the aim of the role is to deliver the product of the right quality, at the right time, in the right quantity for the right cost in a safe and effective manner. This role is a Grade 2 role and will be part of our Foodservice department. The role will operate on a 2-shift pattern.
Responsibilities
1. The safe operation of equipment by participating in risk assessments for area of responsibility, keeping areas clean and tidy and ensuring that operations are carried out according to the relevant SOP’s and safe working procedures.
2. The set-up and operation of the line to the correct standards through adherence to SOP’s, maintenance of line throughput's to standards and ensuring general maintenance and hygiene standards of equipment are upheld.
3. Completion of actions derived from the identification of line losses – to identify line losses, inform Area Shift Leader and identify improvements to equipment and participate in Lean activity.
4. Adhere to relevant procedures to ensure successful completion of maintenance duties and changeovers.

9. Experience within a similar role.
10. Ability to work unsupervised.
