We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our Quality Control and Returns team based at Swindon in our 3PL warehouse.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of returns, maintaining high standards of product quality, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and manage the QC & Returns team, ensuring efficient processing of returned items, orders and adherence to quality standards.
2. Oversee the inspection of returned goods, identifying defects and determining appropriate next steps.
3. Conduct quality control checks on incoming and returned products to ensure they meet company standards.
4. Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely updating of all paperwork and warehouse management systems for returns and quality control.
5. Supervise the picking, packing, and dispatch of both domestic (“Store Seconds”) and international orders, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
6. Effectively plan and allocate resources, including staffing, equipment, and time, to meet daily operational demands and seasonal peaks.
7. Manage inventory accuracy within the QC and returns area, including conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring Inventory records (NetSuite) are precise.
8. Oversee the dedicated inventory of spare parts, managing their receipt, organization, and distribution to support repair and quality control processes.
9. Monitor and analyze returns data to identify trends and develop strategies for reducing return rates.
10. Collaborate with internal departments (customer service, logistics, and PD) to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
11. Develop and implement procedures to streamline the returns process and enhance operational efficiency.
12. Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high performance and ensure accurate assessments.
13. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the QC & Returns area.
14. Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on team performance and returns metrics.
15. Act as a key point of contact for escalated quality or returns-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.

ABOUT YOU

* Proven experience in a QC, returns management, or warehouse operations role within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory or returns management systems.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
* Passion for the OKA brand and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
