Offer description

We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 6 months experience in the sector; however, we also accept applicants who are new to the sector and keen to thrive in a new career. Driving is essential for this role. Welsh speaking is desirable.

Rates of pay include:

* Basic week day rate - £13
* Enhanced week day rate - £13.65
* Basic Weekend rate - £14
* Enhanced weekend rate - £14.65

Additional benefits include 45p per mile, paid travel time, paid leave, and enhanced rates of pay for bank holidays.

Areas Covered: Conwy, Prestatyn, Rhyl, St Asaph, Abergele

As a Community Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of clients using a person-centred approach. You should observe and promote the patient’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, and other rights, maintaining professional relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders. Supporting fellow Care Workers and adhering to all regulatory and statutory obligations, policies, procedures, and guidelines are also essential.

Your main duties and responsibilities include:

* Providing personal and practical care services for people with a wide range of illnesses and disabilities.
* Assisting individuals with daily activities such as getting up, dressing, washing, bathing, and toileting.
* Supporting individuals with mobility issues and physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of aids and personal equipment.
* Assisting with end-of-life care.
* Promoting mental and physical activity through conversation, outings, reading, hobbies, and recreation.
* Supporting carer respite with block packages of care.
* Maintaining records in log-books, participating in staff and individual meetings, and engaging in training activities.
