Overview

Trade Client Manager role for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) – field-based, South and East of England. MSX International is looking to grow genuine JLR parts sales to trade customers through the Trade Retailer network. The Trade Client Manager will support activity definition, manage the Trade Retailer network, implement Trade sales processes and drive delivery of the sales target within the region. Reporting to the Trade Operations Manager, this role requires coaching and management of the Trade sales activity of the Trade Retailer network and ensuring retailers have the resources to provide excellent service and to achieve sales targets.


Responsibilities

* Engage with the Management team within each Trade Retailer to support the trade sales objective
* Set up the Trade Retailer operations to prescribed standards and SLAs
* Organise the operational structure of the Trade Retailer to maximise quality and efficiency
* Gain participation and launch national and local campaign initiatives
* Define and implement sales development activity, with Business Plans for each Trade Retailer
* Support Trade Retailer sales activities, including customer visits, to deliver trade parts sales growth
* Analyse trade sales business performance (turnover and KPIs) of each Trade Retailer to ensure achievement of sales targets and action plans


Qualifications

* A parts sales background (essential): from a manufacturer trade parts team, dealer senior parts manager/sales manager or aftermarket distributor role
* Wide experience of automotive trade parts distribution operations and sales techniques
* Analytical approach to activity planning as well as being able to work on strategy and development actions with the use of data to identify opportunities
* Good skill level in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong presentation and persuasion skills
* Self-starter with a proven track record of achieving parts trade sales targets
