Morecambe South District Nurses has an exciting opportunity to recruit to a permanent post of 22.5 hours per week.
Morecambe South District Nurses are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and highly motivated staff nurse, who is excited to work in an evolving district nursing service. The successful applicant will be committed to working closely with health and social care colleagues, to provide high quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions in the community setting.
The team is conveniently based in the seaside town of Morecambe, making this a desirable area to both access and a lovely coastal area to work in.
Key Responsibilities
* Work flexibly over 7 days, including weekends and evening shifts.
* Undertake complex nursing assessments and develop and deliver programmes of care for patients and carers.
* Support the 24-hour district nursing service to ensure service delivery.
* Collaborate with other professionals, voluntary sector and informal carers to promote excellent care to patients in their own homes and in the community setting.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A full UK driving licence is required to carry out this role.
* Student nurses due to qualify and newly qualified staff nurses are welcomed from those who wish to develop within the scope of Community Nursing.
