Maintenance Engineer Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking to work a shift-based role with a major manufacturing company in the area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will join a stable team with low turnover and play a key part in the company's growth. The main priorities will include ensuring the factory runs efficiently and production levels are maintained.
Responsibilities
* Perform proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
* Respond to breakdowns quickly through reactive maintenance
* Work on both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance tasks
* Participate in engineering projects such as commissioning, installations, and relocations
* Identify and implement improvements to processes and machine output
* Adhere to site health & safety rules and legislation
Requirements
* Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
* Experience in a multi-skilled role covering mechanical and electrical engineering
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with confidence
