Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
* Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
* Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink offerings.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
* Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
* Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any requests.
* Prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery, and glassware.
* Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
* Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A friendly and professional manner with customers.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
