An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Refrigeration Case Maintenance Manager to join our company, working with some of the UK’s leading supermarket and retail clients.
The role involves managing and advising a team of Field Engineers to carry out all statutory duties related to Case Maintenance control. Provide solutions and services to deliver a Case Maintenance service across the City customer base as defined in the “Scope of Works”, in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the Company’s Health and Safety policy.
Responsibilities:
* Represent the company professionally at all times and develop good working relationships with City and its core customers.
* Promote “best practice” by ensuring consistent, effective, and efficient techniques, processes, and procedures are adopted throughout field operations.
* Ensure all members of the Case Maintenance team comply with Health and Safety regulations and the company’s Health and Safety Policy.
* Collaborate with the company and its customer base to maintain standards of quality at all times.
* Order equipment following laid-down procedures.
* Deliver refrigeration case maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, prioritizing maintenance and repair work to meet response times.
Financial Responsibilities:
* Manage tools and equipment ordering within budget.
* Procure uniforms.
* Approve parts.
People Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the Case Maintenance Teams.
* Act as the primary contact for the teams within your area.
* Recruit and onboard new colleagues.
* Conduct inductions, onboarding, probation reviews, and appraisal reviews.
* Manage absence, welfare, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Experience with complex refrigeration equipment.
* Retail experience.
* 2-3 years management experience.
The ideal candidate:
* Holds a full driving license.
* Has high flexibility in working hours and job types.
* Possesses high mobility and willingness to travel throughout the country.
* Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Can distinguish colours as required for electrical/electronic maintenance and repair.
