The Role
As a Sales Assistant you will be the face of the store, welcoming customers and providing a fun, engaging shopping experience. You’ll use your product knowledge to offer personalised recommendations, perform product demonstrations and hand out tailored samples. Working closely with your team you’ll help drive sales, exceed targets and create memorable in‑store events that keep customers coming back. You’ll also manage stock, maintain high visual merchandising standards and adapt displays to seasonal trends. Flexible shifts, a competitive hourly rate based on the Living Wage and opportunities for bonuses will support your growth through training and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a 5‑star customer experience consistently, going above and beyond to be a day‑maker.
* Champion Lushs ethics and values during consultations as a Lush Ambassador.
* Operate till systems – cash handling trained.
* Adapt and solve problems, as no two retail days are the same.
* Maintain shop‑floor stock levels during busy periods.
* Maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.
* Process deliveries and adhere to the freshness policy and stock rotation.
* Handle waste management and perform regular stocktakes.
* Keep the stockroom and back‑of‑house areas highly organised.
