Teaching Assistant – Fixed Term until 31/8/2026
Britannia Primary School and Nursery
Salary: £17,205 per annum
Hours: 31.25 hours per week / 38 weeks per year. Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 3.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 2.15pm.
You will be required to supervise 30 minutes each day over the lunchtime period which is included in these hours.
Responsibilities
* Support the learning of children across the school.
* Work with a team of class teachers and other Teaching Assistants to ensure all children are able to make the most of their learning opportunities.
* Be flexible and creative while building on children’s interests.
* Work with pupils to support good communication and written language skills.
Requirements
* Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
* Essential: Level 2 or above in an appropriate Early Years qualification.
* Essential: GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
