Vergo Pest Management Ltd is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. We have a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in and around Grimsby and Scunthorpe. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change or to start your career, we want to hear from you. Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control and wildlife management.
Responsibilities
* You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties where you'll be visiting customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises.
Salary and Benefits
Salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience. In addition, technicians have the opportunity to increase take home pay by up to £6,000 through leads, commission, bonus schemes and incentives. A Trainee starting salary is £26,740.00 increasing to £28,000.00 once qualified.
Training and Eligibility
* Experience within this field is preferred; however, we provide an in-house training programme for inexperienced candidates.
* We are looking for individuals with initiative, the right attitude and work ethic.
* Minimum criteria
* Full UK Drivers Licence
* Good communication skills written and verbal
* Live within a 40 mile radius of the advertised area
* The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
* Be methodical and systematic in your approach to work
* Be comfortable using mobile phone apps
* Excellent attention to detail
