Health and Safety Advisor

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading property developer to recruit a Health and Safety advisor. The organisation turns over circa £1bn and works on a range of bespoke residential developments across the UK. Health and Safety has always been an integral part of the company's culture and this role will play a crucial part in this continued success.

Responsibilities
* Engage across the sites, implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, and develop contractors.
* Assist with training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigate incidents where required.
* Assist with the review and production of risk assessments and method statements and answer any health and safety related queries.
* Assist with audits and inspections of the site, identify areas for improvement, and report on findings.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally from within construction or related industry.
* NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate and ideally working towards Diploma level, and relevant membership of IOSH.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
* Drive and enthusiasm with the ability to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
