Monday Friday (DAYS) with an early Friday finish
Were working with a specialist manufacturing business who are looking to add an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to their team. This role is ideal for someone skilled in bending, rolling and forming sheet metal to tight tolerances, working from patterns, and calculating bend allowances and forming characteristics. Youll be involved in producing precision components that meet exact engineering specifications, using your knowledge of metal behaviour, temperature control and forming techniques. You will be getting involved in:
1. Bending, rolling and forming sheet metal components to precise tolerances
2. Working from patterns, templates and engineering drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy
3. Calculating bend allowances, material spring-back and forming sequences
4. Using forming machinery such as rollers, presses, brakes and manual fabrication tools
5. Monitoring material temperature and behaviour during forming to ensure integrity
