About The Role:
Our client, a mid-sized urban design consultancy, is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Project Leader to join their team on a permanent basis at their central London office.
The studio works on various high-profile projects, including strategic planning for major masterplanning projects in the Middle East. They are looking for a Project Lead with at least 8 years of professional experience, strong client management skills, and solid exposure to conceptual and strategic planning stages of urban projects. The role involves overseeing the quality and consistency of design work and ensuring alignment with client goals and the studio's creative direction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead large, high-profile design masterplanning and urban projects through conceptual and strategic planning stages.
* Serve as the primary contact during all client-facing phases.
* Mentor and lead a team, leveraging previous leadership experience.
* Oversee detailed design and construction packages throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate with external consultants, stakeholders, and contractors on design and commercial matters.
* Collaborate with design teams to understand workflows and provide strategic input.
Key Skills/Requirements:
* A master's degree in urban design, landscape architecture, or architecture.
* At least 8 years of professional experience in a design practice.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Experience with Revit and ArcGIS is highly desirable.
* Experience with large-scale masterplanning or urban projects through strategic design stages.
* Knowledge of user-centered strategies and design principles.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience in team management and client interactions is advantageous.
